Yesterday, boys and girls lacrosse played the preliminary round of the Bergen County Tournament and advanced on to Game 1. The boys’ lacrosse team ended with a score of 6-5 against Park Ridge Emerson (18th seed) after four overtimes. Senior, Eric Schneider earned Westwood (15th seed) the game-winning point which sends them off to Don Bosco Prep (2nd seed) on Saturday at noon.

The girls team (12th seed) won 13-4 against Fair Lawn (17th seed) where senior Neeve Twomey earned her 100th career point. The girls will be advancing on to game 1 this Saturday at 11 a.m. against Pascack Valley (5th seed).
