Ms. Impomeni began teaching CP Biology this year at Westwood Regional High School. The class focuses on the study of life, and the function, structure and growth of living organisms. Biology is taught mostly to junior students.
While Ms. Impomeni knew she wanted to be an elementary school teacher from a young age, she was not entirely sure which subject she wanted to teach. She got good grades in all her classes, so she wasn’t sure which she preferred. She decided on science after she took Biology in high school. She immediately fell in love with the class and decided to pursue this career choice.
Prior to Westwood, Ms. Impomeni gained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Secondary Education from The College of New Jersey. This is her first year teaching, though she has co-taught at another school.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Impomeni does more than just science. Some fun facts include that she played the Flute in high school band and also plays the guitar. She loves flowers, and some hobbies include hot yoga and selling wire-wrapped jewelry on Etsy on the side.
