September 24, 2018
Is anyone having trouble getting back into that school mode? Is anyone stressing over grades, deadlines, and college? If so, read this for some tips on how to get back into school mode!
It can be very difficult to re-adjust to school, especially after summer break. It can be super overwhelming just to think about all the work you will have to do for each of your classes. One point that is very important and essential is to remember to chill and relax every once in a while. To constantly stress about school, tests, and grades can take a serious toll on both your physical and mental health, leading to more unwanted issues. So as ironic as this might sound, remember to always take a break, relax, and de-stress.
A second tip to get back into school mode is to catch up with friends. School is not supposed to be something you dread, it is supposed to be for your benefit and to socialize. Friends have the ability to make or break a day, so always make sure to have that friend that makes school fun for you! Friends can also help with studying and even help you de-stress.
Getting into a routine can be extremely helpful to readjusting to school. Having a routine helps structure and organize your time, which can help calm your nerves. Setting daily and weekly goals for yourself can also help you stay on top of things so that you do not get overwhelmed at the last minute. Studying little by little instead of keeping it for the last minute can make a huge difference in how you emotionally feel everyday going to school, and will definitely improve your participation in class and your grades in general.
