During the Winter break not only should you not worry about school but watch these movies that are good Christmas movies and give off a good Christmas vibe. They’re a great way to relax and get in the holiday spirit.
Starting off with the first movie I’d recommend: “Home Alone.” Home Alone, as many people know, has many movie, but the original is a very good classic Christmas movie with Kevin being left home alone while his family goes to Paris for Christmas. When he is home alone there are two robbers who try and break into the house, as one of them has wanted that house since he first saw it. Kevin starts planning how he can prevent them from getting into his home. This movie is very fun to watch and there are people just walking into young kids’ traps.
The next movie is “The Grinch.” This movie has two versions and both are based on the book by Dr. Seuss. I personally like the newest version of it that recently came out a few years ago but I recommend the older version of it as well. Not because it’s older but it gives off a good feel. This original movie was very cool to watch and amazing how they were able to make it happen.
The next movie is “Red One.” This movie came out a few years ago and when I first watched it I wasn’t really sure what was happening but it started to make sense when the Christmas themes came into picture. This movie is about a bodyguard who protects Red and there are people who are trying to prevent Christmas from happening and making every rude person pay for what they did.
The final movie that I recommend watching over break and probably the best out of all of these is “Elf.” This is a classic movie that I loved watching when I was a kid and had some very funny moments throughout the movie. “Elf” is a movie about a kid who grew up in the North Pole and was different from the other elves. He has a father who raises him the same as the other elves but he eventually leaves and to go to New York City to meet his biological father. It’s an all-around funny movie, especially seeing what Will Ferrell’s elf character actually eats.
These are all great holiday films that I have enjoyed and recommend to you for this break.
