Since Christmas is around the corner, families are starting to plan their week with their family. Something that families might need to consider is what to watch over the festive break, to help you not argue about what to watch. Here are some Christmas classics to bring back to your tv:
This year marks the 35th anniversary for “Home Alone” which means it’s a perfect time to bring back this Christmas classic for the holidays. “Home Alone” focuses around the main protagonist, 8 year old Kevin, when after he acts out towards his mother, accidentally gets left behind when the family heads to Paris. Kevin’s fun of having an empty house quickly comes to an end when two burglars plan to rob his house. This 1990 film shows the thrilling adventure of Kevin and his role in protecting his family home.
Released November 17, 2000, the classic movie “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. This movie is an adaptation of the children’s tale by Dr. Seuss, where the green hairy creature called the Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for all in Whoville. Joined by his furry companion, a dog named Max, he tries to swipe everything joyful and Christmas but comes across a little girl named Cindy Lou Who, who ruins his plans. Will this change the Grinch? You’ll have to watch to find out.
